Artists

Takuro Tamayama

Born in Gifu Prefecture in 1990.

Graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music with a major in oil painting in 2015.

He creates installations using brightly colored everyday objects, lighting, and video. By combining a wide range of found objects, such as brushes, mops, plates, and sofas, with his own paintings, the color tones of video, the rhythmic movements of objects, and sound, he expresses a space with a precise composition.

Main Exhibitions

"Anything will slip off / if cut diagonally" (ANOMALY, Tokyo, 2021)

"The 25th Anniversary Collection Exhibition VISION Part 1: About Light / Let There Be Light" (Toyota Museum of Art, Aichi, 2020)

"Takuro Tamayama and Tiger Tateishi" (Nonaka-Hill, Los Angeles, 2019)

Naoya Hirata

Born in Nagano Prefecture in 1991.

Graduated from Musashino Art University, Department of Sculpture in 2014.

With the theme of space, time, and physicality, he presents virtual sculptures constructed in the virtual space of PC, mainly by assemblage, using existing 3D models and images collected from the Internet as materials. By using temporary images, he embodies another reality that exists in a new order, and by experimenting with many different versions of a possible world, he questions the relationship between things in reality. The exhibition will also consider contemporary interpretations of the history of sculpture.

Main Exhibition

"∃, Parallels, Invulnerability" (Tokyo Arts and Space Hongo, Tokyo, 2018)

"Incomplete Prison" (Guardian Garden, Tokyo, 2019)

Jun Nakane

Born in Shizuoka Prefecture in 1999.

Studied oil painting at Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music in 2021.

He creates installations, sculptures, videos, and prints using universal objects familiar to our daily lives, construction sites on the side of the road, and everyday scenery such as public spaces as motifs.

By removing the order that surrounds the objects and applying or recombining them with other motifs, he creates a virtual space created by chance.

Main Exhibition

"Multiple Addresses, Edition 2/2", Shimin Gallery Yada, Aichi, 2021

Akari Mitsumura

Born in Gifu Prefecture in 1998.

Studied oil painting at Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music in 2021.

He creates large-format paintings of ready-made products that have been simplified in terms of their symbolic aspects, such as color and form, and digitally constructed, as well as installations of three-dimensional objects that have been reproduced in reality. He explores the coincidence and divergence with the real world, and creates effects on perception.
